King’s Camps is the UK’s leading sport and activity camp provider for children during the school holidays. Working for King’s Camps as a swimming coach, is a great opportunity to earn money during the holidays while working in the outdoors, coaching swimming and having fun.
A King's Camps swimming coach is responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of all swimming sessions for groups of children aged between 4 and 17 years. King's Camps swimming programmes combine a mixture of structured swimming teaching and fun and games and when not on poolside, swimming coaches will get involved with other sports and activities taking place on the activity camp
- Ideal candidates will have a Full STA Level 2 Swimming Teachers Certificate or ASA Level 2 Certificate for teaching swimming (previously ASA Full Teachers) and a NPLQ, NARS qualification or National Rescue Test for Teachers.
- Experience of working with children, motivation and commitment is essential.
- Having a current First Aid qualification will significantly increase the chance of selection.
- Hours of work are between 9.45am and 4.15pm and will be confirmed by contract.
- Rate of pay is dependent upon contract.
